Our Company

Ambler Design is based in Stowe, Vermont and services clients throughout Lamoille, Washington, and Chittenden counties and beyond.  Founded in 2005 by Ian and Stacey Ambler, the company is based on their experience and love of designing spaces for human use that are shaped from the surrounding environment.  At Ambler Design, we understand that the landscape is an integral part of your daily life.  Our landscapes are the link between our homes and the natural world beyond and should work with the natural systems in place to create a lasting environment for everyone’s enjoyment.  Each landscape is an opportunity to work with the native soils, stones, plants, and water to create the terraces, walls, ponds and streams that provide you the peaceful outdoor respite to enjoy with family and friends.   

Our integrated design-build approach allows us to work directly with home and business owners, architects, and builders to provide a comprehensive source for site and landscape design and construction.  The relationship between the client, designer, and craftsmen enables us to complete projects efficiently, creatively, and competitively.  We work with talented local tradespeople and builders to complete every aspect of your project to the highest quality.  Ambler Design takes pride in creating exceptional and sustainable landscapes.
